Three MMOs pushing the genre
- Guild Wars 2 – ArenaNet’s lofty statements of turning just about every MMO standard on its head, combined with some amazing videos, has this MMO poised to be the possible leader in pushing the genre forward.
- ArcheAge – Not as much information is available for ArchAge as other titles on the horizon, but from what we hear, the MMO is shooting to combine old, big-world living with todays technology and new ideas.
- Age of Wulin – Maybe the least innovative of the bunch, but it’s trying to be the little engine that could. Features like no experience-levels, wacky begging mechanics and a plethora of features to enhance character personalities, over the popular focus on combat and action, may give Age of Wulin legitimate reason to be on this list.
Am I missing something?

Is there anything coming out related to the release of The Hobbit?
Only that Turbine has been releasing lots of expansions for Lord of the Rings Online and that’s pretty far behind the books. They are just now getting into Isengard.
