The Question of the Day is about game economies.
How do predominantly themepark MMOs – that are vastly accelerating leveling past all the levels – retain a healthy, robust economy for any player of any level?

I think it’s impossible over the long run, unless you make low level players able to create items that high level players need. Perhaps things like enchantments and runes wear out over time, and new players can make those things from day 1. You’d have to allow them to make the top tier stuff right away of course, otherwise people will still only look for the high level players with raid enchantments. Also, you could have durability like it is in WoW, but with only players able to repair it. Low level players could sell repair deeds through the auction house.
Just some ideas.
