Growing pains

I’m already having difficulty with the layout. It’s really not bad. It’s just one little thing that I don’t know the answer to. I was trying to figure out how the featured images, and post headers, got that nice padded border automatically. I knew it was applied automatically, but didn’t figure out the post images until late last night. I found out I needed to set the image through a featured image box, below the box that you add post tags. That now adds the fashionable gray border on post headers.

The problem that remains is with the featured images at the top of the page. It’s supposed to have a nice light-blue padded border applied to it, but no matter what I try, I can’t get it to work.
