VotD: FWC with CM Rabidfish

Fly For Fun is another MMO I’ve never played before, but Karen and I had to check out. A Flyff World Championship was held and we were given the opportunity to interview the winning guild and have them show us around the game. CM Rabidfish joined us as well and the night turned into a crazy PvP extravaganza with giant bosses being spawned all over the place.

QotD: Just where are MMOs headed?

The MMO industry, like every other industry, is constantly changing, growing and evolving into new forms of itself. The onset of console-based games becoming online-capable, the focus of MMOs changing to casual and possibly more co-op friendly and the onset of new technologies have provided multiple avenues for MMOs to travel. This is, of course, subject to business and whether they want standardized, assembly-line MMOs to generate risk-free revenue or automated all-in-one boxed worlds that can be run with little continual upkeep.

Just where are MMOs headed?
